What do you guys think about having different creature types having weaknesses/strengths against certain elements?
For example, Frosts taking more damage from things like fire strike and less damage from things like ice strike.
I think that this would make more spells/weapons useful so that you aren't just using the same gear to fight all mobs.

Agreed, each mob would have attributes that made the vulnerable or protected from certain spells. What about damage from warriors? What did you have in mind for weapons?

There are a few different things that might be worth looking into for elemental warrior attacks. One being the obvious elemental weapons (righteous hits harder vs undead, etc.). Another would be some sort of buffs like "fire brand" which would add fire attack to a weapon for a time. We would have to be careful not to give too large of a bonus so that the mobs don't become too easy with the right set. Maybe have brands require quite a bit of charisma to cast? This seems like it would make for a killer trio. War with high str, mage for para/zerk, and charisma for brands and maybe some debilitating spells on the mob?

I like this.
Adding weapon branding, could be along the lines of a new "branding/enchanting" type "profession" allowing you to "brand" your weapons based on what you plan on going out to do, frost brand fire, demons brand ice/water, etc.
A warrior that can brand ice in pvp, now has an extra mechanic to balance the "mages are OP" obviously would require some sort of diminishing return type mechanic in pvp.
Keep these ideas flowing! I like it!

I like the branding ideas. There could also be debuffs like darkness/blind that decreases the target's hit prob, slow, and weakness to fire/ice/etc.
