Although i dont go into as much detail as vivi i would defiantly like to see some rare spells dropped that work for warriors as well as one that could work for a new archer based class. Like maybe have some sort of arrow storm for archers and maybe titan for warriors that would give them some huge sword and shield type effect. That way everyone would be into hunting up rare spells. Just an idea.

Hello Moogle! Nice to see you!
I have had a few conversations about a bow related class, and making bows viable, even as a main weapon status!
I would also like to see more reasons to have varied classes, viable reasons to go full warrior, or even a tank warrior and so forth. We dont want to have warriors REQUIRE themselves to have spells to be effective anymore, but if they choose to, we are not against giving them reasons to do that also.
Talk to Vivi, beat him up a bit to work on his warrior write up =)
Thank you for the ideas! keep them coming!

Archers actually were one of the "specs" I had in mind along with my spec idea thread. I'll see if I can write up a summary later on but the main 4 specs for warriors that I was thinking about were Protection ( low damage / high defenses / shields+one handers specialized ), Hunter ( bow specialized / high PvE dmg ), Blood ( mid damage / high sustain / long sword specialized ), and last one would be Destruction ( high damage / battle axe-hammer specialized ). Part of the idea was to have them acquirr their own set of abilities based on their stats so for example; a hunter would want to put most of their stat points in Dexterity and that stat would act like Intelligence works for mages. The higher you have, the better abilities they can get. That way we can move away from warriors being able to cast magic in general which made no sense to me. They would also be required to have their weapon equipped to be able to "cast" their abilities.

Yah i never cared for warriors being able to cast so many spells myself...it never made sense to fully protect from arrows, then protect from magic damage then berserk themselves. To much!
And i will be sure to abuse vivi later.
