Excited to see what the new game will bring! It's been a LONG journey since my international days so I am really looking forward to the new game!

Its interesting to reflect for me on the inpact of this game for me. It is a game i started playing when I was 11. I am now 25. Back in my teens, i had more time to invest time in playing video games, but as we have grown up - time is more scarce to play games. I still enjoy video games, but I am also realistic, that between work, studies, relationships. it is not an option for me to start new games. It is thus that I always return to Helbreath. I am not active playing as in the beginning, but when I have time and desire to play - its my chosen game, because I can jump right into it. the familiarity and community. It is the only game for me, so I hope it will flourish once again.

Helbreath, sharing many similarities with games of the time (1999), has similar problems. One being time investment. Gear random rolls like every other game back then. It's like D3 still is today to follow the randomness in gear as D2 was back then as many games were. And that's light playing this season. I broke hundreds of hours past seasons. To be competitive in a game where randomness in items defines everything (try being competitive with blacksmith items vs someone with rep7 ancients, and mr/pr/ma/pa sets) requires a costly time investment. It's one of the downfalls of HB. Someone new gets outclassed by veterans and has no chance to get to the top unless carried.
